Flexible wall moulding with a classic profile: Velida Flex Crown
The Velida Flex Crown is the most richly profiled model in our range: a layered build-up with several steps and edges around a rounded core. Each layer gives its own shadow line, exactly what gives classic cornice work in townhouses and 1930s homes its depth. Where original plasterwork calls for a craftsman and days of work, you put up the Crown yourself.
The Crown is a flexible, self-adhesive moulding on a 6-metre roll, 2 cm wide and 1 cm deep. It bends along straight walls, curved walls and arches, is matte white and can be painted over with any wall paint.
Stately arches, frames and ceiling edges
It is in an arch that the Crown really shows what it can do: the layered shape bends along smoothly and gives the opening a stately surround, as if it had always been there. Painted over with concrete or lime paint, an arch takes on a timeless, almost Mediterranean look. In wall frames, as wainscoting and along the ceiling, the shadow lines bring instant character too.
At its best in classic interiors
Do you live in a home with high ceilings, or do you miss that character in a newer home? In classic and Parisian chic interiors the Crown comes into its own and brings back the grandeur.
Self-adhesive and on the wall in 3 steps
You mark out the line, cut the moulding to size and press it onto the wall or against the ceiling. The self-adhesive strip holds the moulding in place straight away.
