Warranty Policy
At Velida, quality comes first. Our decorative mouldings are produced with careful attention to material, adhesive layer, and finish. If something is not right with your product, we are here to help.
What is covered by the warranty?
You are entitled to a 2-year legal conformity warranty on all products purchased from us. This is a statutory right and applies from the date of delivery.
We will process a warranty claim if the product:
- has a verifiable manufacturing defect (such as a damaged or non-functioning adhesive layer along the full length of the moulding);
- breaks or becomes damaged during normal use;
- does not match the product description at the time of purchase.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Our warranty does not apply if the damage or issue is the result of:
- incorrect installation or mounting that deviates from our installation guide;
- inadequate surface preparation (such as a dirty, damp, or porous wall);
- the curling or bowing of the roll end. Our mouldings are tightly rolled after production, which means the end can have a slight curve. This is an inherent characteristic of the material, not a manufacturing defect. The solution is simple: cut off this piece and use only the flat part. - normal wear and tear from use;
- external factors such as damage after installation.
How do you submit a claim?
Have you found a defect? Get in touch via our contact form or send an email to info@velida.nl. Please include in your message:
- a brief description of the issue, including when and how it occurred;
- clear photos of the defect;
- your order number.
The more context you provide, the faster and better we can help you. We will get back to you within 2 business days.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will arrange a replacement in the first instance. If that is not possible or does not provide a suitable solution, we will work with you to find another way forward.
